Providence
Where do I begin? The inspiration for Providence was truly that -- An inspiration -- After many weeks of praying for God's guidance in my life, I kept having the urge to write a novel. Of course I told God many times, "No, You don't understand, I DON'T write!" But as we all know God often has other plans.
I sat down at the computer one evening in March 2000 and began typing. Seven months later, after much encouragement from my husband and many others, I had finished a first draft of my manuscript Providence.
There have been many people over the course of this undertaking that deserve special recognition for supporting me, offering encouragement and critiquing and evaluating the work as it progressed. I would like to thank Carolyn Markes, Karen Freeman and Kelly Mount for taking the time to read and praise the work, giving me the impetus that I needed to continue; Jean VanEron for her invaluable editing skills; all of the women in the Romance Writers For Him critique group - each one an inspirational writer of great merit in her own right; and of course my husband, Ted Noland, who prayed for me, read countless revisions, offered wonderful insights and even cried with me through the trials and tribulations of Kate and Luke.
